Ice Hotel Only 15 more days until I head off to a long-planned, much-needed vacation. For those not in the know, I’m heading out to see Wicked and holiday shopping in NYC, followed by a bunch of running around in Italy with my best friend Kim — Milan, Venice, Florence, and Christmas in Rome. We’ll then be heading up to Stockholm on the way to Kiruna for the world-famous Ice Hotel for New Year’s Eve. All-in-all, I’ll be out of town for about 3 weeks. And I can’t wait!!

Oh, I might as well mention that I’m double blogging. Once here, for personal gratification. And here for work related topics, which I’m sure will be of very little interest to the most of you. But, hey, that’s what I’m up to. As a teaser, here’s an image from that blog, found on this posting.

To all friends — I’ve now set up a Twitter account and am fast becoming a regular twitterer. Go to http://twitter.com/gych and sign up, or simply follow. You’ll get to know me a little better, and maybe, if you let me, vise versa.

Come on! It’s fun. :-)

Yes, yes, it’s been months. A lot has happened since then but I won’t really try to cover months of goings-on with a bit posting. For now, all I’ll attempt is to get back into this. And to start, I’ll go with a tried-and-true well-wishing of a Happy Thanksgiving! Those in the know, know that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It’s one of the pure holidays to me, birthed out of a true reason for holidaying — giving thanks for something good. It’s not about remembering the dead, or celebrating some trite birth of a presumably great person. It’s about us. Me. You. And everyone around us. And celebrating the successes and survivals within our own year. I love it. And I’m thankful for it.
